The Pink Elephant Music Group was created by Japan and YellaStud out of necessity to celebrate and elevate a community of people and a genre of music that often go under represented in mainstream Hip-Hop.
But this is NOT just about music. This is about creating a safe space for LGBTQ Artists to express themselves and address social, cultural and political issues that affect our community i.e. HIV/AIDS, Black Lives Matter, transgender violence, LGBTQ youth homelessness and LGBTQ rights.
We also PROUDLY partner with Community Based Organizations i.e. allgo, Austin Black Pride and Austin Pride to educate and empower our community by providing HIV/STI testing,prevention and education as well as voter registration drives at all of our EVENTS. We understand that to whom much is given much is required and take our position as THE FASTEST GROWING LGBTQ HIP HOP COLLECTIVE very seriously and with great responsibility.
