DJ Dama was born and raised in Brighton Beach Brooklyn NY. She was on the NYC scene as a rapper for a while, gaining the respect of well known underground MCs, who invited her to tour the U.S and Europe. DJing was a skill she gained after years of studying the DJs she toured with. She moved to Austin in 2017 and had been gaining traction as a local hip hop/dancehall DJ, solo and with her group Spy Coastal. Currently working on her newest project, titled "Mindstate: South Brooklyn".
