Duncan Fellows
On a sweltering, quiet corner of Duncan Ln. in Austin, TX stood a one-story house with 14 inhabitants. During the summer of 2012, the house's AC failed and a careless landlord refused to repair the fan. It was here that Colin Harman and Cullen Trevino first met and began to write songs, thus forming Duncan Fellows.
After independently releasing Twelve Months Older (2013) and Marrow (2015), the Fellows hit the road with Houndmouth, and then Joseph. Eager to release new music, DF hit the studio in early 2017 to record their debut LP Both Sides of the Ceiling.
With the release of Both Sides of the Ceiling (August 2017), a fresh upbeat sound catapulted them to the forefront of the Austin music scene. Their newfound sound has seen airplay on hometown favorite KUTX and Spotify’s Feel Good Indie Rock playlist. Fan favorite and lead single "Fresh Squeezed" garnering over a million plays on streaming platforms.
Through their charismatic stage presence and high energy sets, DF attracted crowds to sold out shows in the fall with Middle Kids leading up to their massive debut at Austin City Limits. Riding off of the success of 2018, DF plans to tour and release new music in 2019.
