The music of Zach Saginaw, who records as SHIGETO has always cross-wired a host of different musical influences. In his 10 years as a recording artist he has released 4 albums, on Ghostly international, including his 2017 return The New Monday, a culmination of inspirational sounds from his home town Detroit Michigan. 2018 saw the transformation of Shigeto's live and studio sound continue, introducing a live jazz ensemble, touring extensively through North America as well as Europe and the UK. Ending 2018 with the release of his 6th EP "Weighted", featuring members of the Shigeto Jazz Ensemble. Whether as a solo performing artist, or accompanied by rappers and jazz instrumentalist, Shigeto's live show is a force of sound and experience not to be missed. 2019 is planned for more global touring and work on his next full length recordings.
