Spike Vincent plays, with band in tow, an earnest suburban Australian brand of post-punk that has grown up, moved out, got off the dole(wave) and picked up some kitchen sink anguish along the way. It’s a strong dose of guitar hooks, a bit of crooning, some raw nerves, a scuffed edge or two and lush, sunbaked arrangements for jilted or to-be jilted lovers.
