Faren Humes

Faren Humes is an award-winning filmmaker from Miami. A Sundance Institute Knight Foundation Fellow, she has won DGA and Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Awards and was named one of Miami’s Top 100 Creatives. She is a 2018 Film Independent Project Involve and Chaz Ebert Fellow. Her work concerns the transcendent experiences of black folk.
