Uli Gaulke

Graduated from Film University Babelsberg. He made his debut with the documentary „Havanna, mi amor“ (2001) and won the German Film Academy Award „Lola“. Since then he has directed various documentaries. “Comrades in Dreams“(2006) premiered in Sundance and screened at the Berlinale. „As Time Goes by in Shanghai“(2011) premiered at Hot Docs.
