Minke
Combining alt-rock and R&B influences with a feminist viewpoint, London's Minke first came to attention with her 2017 single "Gold Angel." The song, which she wrote in Nashville with the Kooks' Paul Garred, quickly earned acclaim and popularity on various streaming platforms after its March release thanks to its thoughtful lyrics about the state of the world for women. Minke, Garred, and "Gold Angel" producer Rory Andrew also recorded an EP together that showcased the singer/songwriter's guitar skills as well as her pop leanings; it was expected later in 2017. ~ Heather Phares, Rovi
