Ronald "OgRonC" Coleman
Legendary DJ OG Ron C has been in the music game for over 30 years. As the Co-Founder of Swishahouse Records he saw the growth in the careers of Mike Jones, Paul Wall, Chamillionaire, Slim Thug and many others. Over the years he became a mixtape pioneer and has over 2500 mixtapes to date includes his critically acclaimed "F-Action" series. The founder of The Chopstars, he has worked with the likes of Drake, 2 Chainz, Chance The Rapper, Riff Raff and recently collaborated with Barry Jenkins, director of Academy Award Winning Best Picture "Moonlight" along side DJ Candlestick to present a ChopNotSlop( chopped and screwed) version of the soundtrack entitled Purple Moonlight. Currently OG Ron C is an on air mixer of iHeart Radio's KQBT 93.7 The Beat Houston. In July 2016, OG Ron C was featured on "The Lean Scene" episode of the Viceland show "Black Market With Michael K. Williams" and on Sept 4th 2016 OG Ron C was presented with a proclamation from Houston mayor Sylvester Turner giving OG Ron C his own day in his hometown of Houston, Tx.
