Jeffrey Brown
Jeffrey Brown has produced a number of award-winning feature documentaries in Europe, Africa, Asia and the USA, playing top international festivals and being released in cinemas as well as on top platforms around the globe. He has an extensive background in arts & culture docs, especially music-related projects, and those focusing on cultural identity and socio-political movements.
Highlights include: "No No: A Dockumentary" on African American baseball pitcher Dock Ellis's legendary no-hitter, "Through The Repellent Fence" on the Native American art collective PostCommodity’s two-mile long outdoor artwork straddling the U.S. - Mexico border, "Punk in Africa" on the continent’s multi-racial punk movement. “Nothing Stays The Same: The Story of The Saxon Pub” won the SXSW Music Doc Prize in 2019. He is currently in late production of a German spy documentary, among other.
Brown consults and acts as a Producer Rep on numerous film projects and regularly conducts his popular Documentary Master Class series around the globe. Having produced films internationally, he has extensive experience with foreign markets.
