Claudia Restrepo

Claudia Restrepo is a Los Angeles-based writer and director focusing on Latinx content for BuzzFeed’s Pero Like. Before producing for the world wide web, Claudia's 2012 play Reconstruction received a Theater Unleashed Award for best of Hollywood Fringe. She is a graduate of the National Hispanic Media Coalition Television Writing Program, and a 2014 Academy Nicholl Fellowship quarterfinalist. Claudia is passionate about minority and queer representation, both on and off screen. One of her favorite projects to date is Lesbian Princess, a series she co-wrote and directed, which has amassed millions of views and combines her love of historical fiction with LGBT themes.
