Rachel Decoste
Rachel Décoste is the Director of the Congressional App Challenge. Prior to joining the Challenge, she received her Master’s in Public Administration from The George Washington University. Rachel Décoste has 15 years of experience in Information Technology in both public and private sectors. She also has a Computer Science degree from the University of Guelph, near Toronto, Canada.
Rachel Décoste is passionate about using technology to address income inequality and improve the lives of America’s youth. She believes that no matter what fields they ultimately pursue, basic coding knowledge is a skill that will serve students throughout their lives. She’s thrilled to work with Members of Congress to highlight the importance of coding education, and to leverage Congress’ capacity to reach students in from coast to coast.
