Kay M. Madati is the Vice President and Global Head of Content Partnerships at @Twitter, Inc. overseeing the company's worldwide efforts to engage with media and content publishers across the categories of TV, Film, Music, Sports, News, Lifestyle, Influencers, and Creators. He is responsible for leading the teams that develop the executional strategies and deals for how partners can extend, scale, market, and monetize their content and programming initiatives across the Twitter's passionate and engaged users; ultimately showcasing that 'Content is Happening, NOW, on Twitter'!
Working with partners to leverage and position a robust suite of content and video distribution products, services and offerings, Mr. Madati is tasked with growing Twitter's leadership role in the traditional and new media landscape, while solidifying Twitter as an influential and essential new media partnership and distribution platform for content producers and worldwide rights-holders alike.
Prior to joining Twitter, Mr. Madati was Executive Vice President and Chief Digital Officer at BET Networks, a unit of Viacom Inc.
Mr. Madati's career spans national and international digital and social media roles. He served as the Head of Entertainment and Media on the Global Marketing Solutions team at Facebook Inc.
Prior to joining Facebook, he served as the Vice President of Audience Experience at CNN Worldwide, where he helped to integrate social media into its daily programming across multiple platforms.
He also held marketing and operations roles at Octagon Worldwide and BMW of North America.
Mr. Madati also serves on Advisory Board of Harvard University's Hutchins Center for African and African American Research. In February of 2014, President Obama appointed Mr. Madati to the President's Advisory Council on Financial Capability for Young Americans. And in March of 2017 he joined the board of Dallas based Wingstop Inc., a fast-growing restaurant franchise concept, a Board Director
