Malika Bilal is an award-winning international news journalist; TV, documentary and podcast host; and speaker who splits her time between Washington, DC and Los Angeles, CA. She’s currently senior presenter at The Take, Al Jazeera English’s flagship news podcast that’s driven by Malika’s intimate interviews with newsmakers around the world, and builds upon the network’s global reach and reporting. In her first year at the helm, she was awarded Best Podcast News Host at the 2021 Gracie Awards, presented by the Alliance for Women in Media, and received the honor again in 2023.
