Rick Bonn

As Head of Development and Acquisitions at Pure Flix Entertainment, Rick developed the
features Samson, The Case for Christ, and God's Not Dead: A Light in Darkness as well as the
award-winning series The Encounter on Pureflix.com. He also negotiated and acquired more
than fifteen completed films for distribution including The Stray, Until Forever, Wish For
Christmas, and Little Notes From Heaven.
After running development for Keystone Pictures (Air Bud), PorchLight Entertainment (Jay Jay
the Jet Plane, Tutenstein, Adventures from the Book of Virtues), and Providence Entertainment
(The Omega Code, Mercy Streets), he consulted on 4000 screenplays for Disney, Nickelodeon,
Wind Dancer and others. He’s spoken at AFM and the Producer's Guild of America and has
guest taught at Pepperdine University, Los Angeles Film School and the Act One Program. An
optioned screenwriter, published author, and creator of indie comic books, his writings on film
and theology have been also been featured in Prism Magazine, Christianity & Theatre and on
several websites including aint-it- cool.com, hollywoodjesus.com, and upperleftedge.com.
