David Nesmith
An agency veteran in his 22nd year in the industry (ten years with The Richards Group), he cut his teeth in the entertainment and fashion industries in Los Angeles and New York, representing such luminaries as Gwyneth Paltrow, Julianna Margulies, Mary Tyler Moore, and Liv Tyler.
During his seven years in New York, David also spearheaded the media outreach and awards campaigns on behalf of clients in numerous stage productions, including Matthew Broderick and Nathan Lane in "The Producers"; Antonio Banderas in "Nine and wife Melanie Griffith in "Chicago" (simultaneously across the street from one another); Alan Cumming in "Design for Living"; Billy Crudup in "The Elephant Man"; and Kristen Johnson in "The Women".
Later, he worked on the launches of the House of Deréon collection for Beyoncé Knowles, the William Rast collection for Justin Timberlake and the Sean by Sean Combs collection for Sean "Diddy" Combs.
David is known for his messaging skills and creative strategic thinking. Equally at home in the boardroom, the newsroom, and the news feed, he has polished the reputations of a varied list of clients including JPI, Klyde Warren Park, Reunion Tower, and Wolfgang Puck Catering.
David is very active in the local Dallas Arts scene, having counseled, volunteered for or served on the boards of Kitchen Dog Theater, Lone Star Circus, North Texas Performing Arts and TAACA.
