Hassan Sawaf

Hassan Sawaf has been with Amazon since September 2016. He joined AWS as the Director of Applied Science and Artificial Intelligence. Hassan has worked in the automatic speech recognition, computer vision, natural language understanding, and machine translation fields for 20+ years. He holds a Master of Science degree in computer science from Rheinisch-Westfälische Technische Hochschule (RWTH) Aachen, and attended the university for his Ph.D. studies.
