Yasushi Ishiai

Yasushi Ishiai is one of the original members of Company’s Autonomous Driving Commuter project. Yasushi led the field trial of autonomous drive at Eiheiji town.
Since joining Panasonic, Yasushi has been consistently involved in automotive products business. He started his carrier as an electronic engineer and had engaged in several developments of various types of sensors for engines, transmissions and suspensions.
After that, he was involved in the development of vision sensing systems, automatic parking aid system and electrification system in the business planning position.
From 2015, Yasushi participated in AD Commuter project for commercialization of automatic driving. He is challenging to solve the issues of community through the innovation of mobility technology.
