Shani Womack
Her voice is rich, soulful and soothing. Music came naturally to this songstress. Born and raised in Flint, Michigan, the eldest of four children. She is the daughter of a Baptist preacher and a Jamaican immigrant. At age six, she began singing with the church choir and that love of singing continues today. A passionate lyricist, Shani focuses on writing and performing songs that speak to the heart and soul. She believes music can inspire us to change the world. Shani has a Masters in counseling and works with children in the city of Flint. She also serves as an associate pastor at Flint Central Church of the Nazarene. The water crisis has moved her become an outspoken, local advocate for justice and racial equality. Shani is a mother to three amazing sons and a devoted wife, of twenty years, to Todd, the love of her life. She currently has two projects available: “No Turning Back” and “To Flint with Love” on Amazon, ITunes, Spotify, and at shaniwomack.com
