The Vincent Young Foundation is a 501c(3) non-profit organization established by Young and his mother, Felicia. Young was inspired to start the foundation because of his own experience overcoming life’s challenges while growing up in Houston, Texas.
The Vincent Young Foundation is dedicated to improving the quality of life of underprivileged children with a special focus on promoting academic and athletic excellence. Young was inspired to start the foundation because of his own experience overcoming life’s challenges as a child. He and his mother, Felicia Young, established the 501c(3) in 2006 in efforts to give back to the community that has made him who he is today.
Through community events and charity endowments, the foundation achieves its goals of inspiring and equipping a new generation. Each year, the foundation facilitates a number of opportunities for kids to learn to give back, grow and change for the better. To kick off the summer, local kids gather to participate in Vince Young’s Community Unity Fun Day. Vince, being a big kid at heart, hosts a day of unity and fun for kids including moon bounces, face painting, music, games and giveaways.
