Chimére Faison Barnard

Chimére Faison Barnard is MailChimp’s Diversity and Inclusion Talent Scout. She is responsible for building strategic relationships with professional organizations to recruit diverse, untapped talent, and partnering with MailChimp’s leadership team to champion the company’s diversity and inclusion work. During her time at MailChimp, Chimére co-founded an employee resource group, The Mothership, which focuses on empowerment through social awareness and inclusivity by uniting the MailChimp community and building external partnerships. Chimére joined MailChimp in 2014 as a technical support agent before shifting to a new hire brand ambassador position and growing into her current role. Prior to joining MailChimp, Chimére worked in the tradeshow industry. She holds a B.A. in English from The University of Georgia and currently lives in Decatur, Georgia, with her husband and son.
