Kristina Francis
Business leader, visionary, and angel investor, Kristina Francis believes that people, initiatives, and businesses have a better opportunity to succeed through strategic planning, strong partnerships, and the connection to capital. Launched in 2017, Kristina’s company EsteemLogic provides a hybrid apprenticeship and employment approach aimed to remove the impediments to success that often impact a large pool of untapped talent; resulting in a workforce ready to consult and deliver in-demand information technology solutions. Prior to launching EsteemLogic, Kristina served as Director of Systems Development and Cyber for a global management consulting firm. In this role she focused on strategic planning, business development, contract teaming; and led technical execution teams. Kristina developed innovative and collaborative business systems and cyber security opportunities, and directly managed a $50M+ Information Technology portfolio. Kristina received her BA from Georgetown University in Psychology and MS from George Washington University in Information Systems Management. Kristina is passionate about education, equity, empowerment, and innovation. She was recently added to the BeaconDC Board of Directors, serves as an advisory board member for Black Girl Ventures(BGV) and a Community Development Financial Institute, is a co-host on the Get Found Get Funded podcast, is a member of Pipeline Angels, and serves as a strategy and business mentor to many entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs in the technology field. Kristina enjoys experiencing life with her husband and cheering on her ten-year-old daughter and nine-year-old son in everything they do!
