Kasi is a writer, stylist, vintage curator and model. Her site, The Peahen, merges high-fashion aesthetics with truth-telling. She writes guides and opinions and features ethical brands and writers. Kasi was trained as a journalist and advocates for supply chain transparency, sustainability, and fair labor practices in fashion. She is passionate about creating ‘conscious community’ in Austin and co-organized the city’s first Fashion Revolution events. Currently, she is forming a collective to unite ethical brands and consumers.
She holds a B.S. in Public Relations from the University of Florida, with specialties in Social Change, Ethics, Human Rights, and Sustainability.
She is an accomplished public speaker and has given lectures at TEDx, Global Sustainable Fashion Week and numerous local panels in her hometown of Austin, Texas, where she is active in the ethical fashion community.
