Dan Katz
Dan “Big Cat” Katz left a job in real estate in 2012 to join Barstool Sports full time as a blogger and personality. For four years he ran Barstool Chicago, developed a rabid fanbase and played a vital role in growing the Barstool brand. In March 2016, after the Chernin Group purchased a majority stake in Barstool Sports, PFT Commenter joined Barstool and teamed up with Katz to launch satirical sports podcast, “Pardon My Take.” In June 2016 Barstool HQ opened in Manhattan and the team continued to grow “Pardon My Take” to the #1 sports podcast where it has remained for two years. In addition to “Pardon My Take” Katz continues to blog, create satirical videos with PMT and host “The Barstool Rundown” one of the brand’s longest running and most popular series.
