Jessica Coen is the editor-in-chief of Mashable, a media company that obsessively covers all things culture, tech, and entertainment. She leads an international team of writers, editors, and producers to create award-winning storytelling for some 70 million readers and viewers.
Jessica is a digital media veteran, having successfully led a variety of newsrooms with an eye for voice and audience. She previously served as the editor-in-chief of Jezebel, running the groundbreaking women's website for nearly five years during a period of significant growth. Earlier, she was managing editor of NYMag.com, where she launched The Cut, was instrumental in the expansion of Vulture, and oversaw editorial content and strategy across all brand verticals. Earlier in her career, Jessica was deputy editor of Vanity Fair's website and editor-in-chief of Gawker. She is a contributing editor at Marie Claire and has written for Bloomberg Businessweek, The New York Times, Elle, Mental Floss, and Glamour.
