With more than a decade in marketing and advertising communications, industry executive Riyhana Bey continues to push the boundaries of marketing communications. Specializing in integrated marketing, global advertising strategy & campaign development, media planning and investment, branded entertainment and content development, complex and comprehensive international production, her range of skills spans nearly all aspects of the industry. She is proud to have been at the forefront of the digital revolution having developing social media and virtual reality apps and ushering clients into the era of social media. Currently serving as Director of Brand Execution and Digital Marketing at Cadillac, she oversees Cadillac’s digital and social strategy and execution, as well as their foray into new digital platforms such as virtual reality. She also helps execute their fully integrated marketing campaigns, across both brand and retail. Prior to joining Cadillac, she served as Senior Vice President of Communications Planning at Dentsu Aegis, where she was responsible for developing strategies for more than $500MM in national media investments. Over the years she has worked for 6 of the top 10 global advertisers, including but not limited to General Motors, HBO, Pepsi, Procter & Gamble, Nike, MARS Chocolate, Air France, TNT, City of New Orleans, Johnson and Johnson, Wells Fargo, Unilever, Burberry, Toyota, Red Bull and Capital One. Ms. Bey has amassed a range of awards in every major category and show, including Cannes Lions, Effie Awards, Nielsen Automotive Ad of the Year, Ad Age, ANA Multicultural, AdColor Catalyst Award, J&J James Burke Award, Webby Awards, and most recently received five awards for innovation and excellence in advertising at the 2015 Clio Awards (described by Time magazine as the world’s most recognizable international advertising show). In addition, she has created award winning advertising campaigns for the likes of Jay Z, Chris Brown, Justin Verlander, Justin Timberlake, Eli Manning, Mary J Blige, John Legend, Teddy Bridgewater, Chad Pennington, and Prince Fielder to name a few. An advocate for bridging the arts and entertainment community with advertising and marketing, Bey has been a contributing writer for The Root, the Griot, Fast Company, Creativity, Jones magazine, and AdAge. A frequent panelist and guest lecturer she has participated on panels from AdWeek to SXSW, and serves as a guest marketing lecturer at Howard University and City University of New York. She is on the Board of Directors for Music Unites, a Member of AWNY (Advertising Women of New York), and the New York Urban League.
