Thorn builds technology to defend children from sexual abuse. They build powerful products, lead new programs, maintain essential resources, and develop awareness campaigns to attack the issue from all sides. Since 2016, Thorn has helped identify over 6,000 child sex trafficking victims. As Head of Marketing and Communications at Thorn, Sarah has built a brand voice that communicates harsh truths, while inspiring supporters to believe in a world where every child can be a kid. Her work helps to communicate Thorn's mission across industries — from corporate partners to government officials to the broader public. At other times, Sarah has used her skillset to help hardware start-ups demonstrate their value, grow marketing agencies, and share her knowledge with incarcerated men at San Quentin to prepare them for their future jobs.
