Melissa Grego
Melissa Grego is currently the CEO of Hollywood Radio & Television Society (HRTS). HRTS is Hollywood’s leading television and media networking, education and career development association. HRTS maintains a rich, 70-year tradition of providing an unparalleled forum for fostering conversation and business relationships and sharing information through regularly scheduled events, initiatives and activities in Los Angeles and New York City. Appointed in October 2017, Grego is the first female executive to lead the non-profit organization. Prior to HRTS, Grego parlayed her network and knowledge as a media business journalist to launch her consulting practice, Melinc, where she executive produced industry conferences such as ‘Next TV Summit’ and ‘TV Data Summit,’ both for NewBay Media. Among her journalism roles, Grego was Editor-in-Chief of the TV industry publication Broadcasting & Cable. While at B&C, Grego created, launched and produced the ‘Keynotes & Cocktails: Women of the West’ and ‘Women of NY’ conferences. Grego was also the first female Editor-in-Chief for the publication. Grego also has held editorial leadership positions at The Hollywood Reporter and TVWeek and was a staff reporter covering TV at Variety.
