Allison McCann

Allison McCann is a data reporter with VICE News Tonight, the Emmy award-winning show on HBO. She reports, writes, designs and develops data-driven stories for television as well as online at ViceNews.com. She's covered topics ranging from abortion access, voting rights, the opioid crisis and officer-involved shootings. In 2017, she worked on a team that produced the first-ever dataset of both fatal and non-fatal police shootings at the 50 largest local police departments. Before coming to VICE News, she worked as a visual journalist at FiveThirtyEight and as a graphics editor at Bloomberg Businessweek.
