Damien Kieken
Damien has been enjoying video games from a tender age thanks to a gaming older brother. After High School, Damien decided to make a career in Video Games and directed his academic education in this direction, graduating honors from the "Institut International du Multimedia" in France. He joined the industry in 2004 as a game and level designer and progressed through various position of increasing responsibility, from project manager to Game Director. He joined Ubisoft in 2010 and has worked on successive Assassin Creed projects, driving the development and implementation of its multiplayer elements and playing key roles in developing the core features of several titles from Brotherhood to Unity. Damien moved to Ubisoft Montréal in 2013 and joined the For Honor team as Online Game Director in early 2015. Since then, he’s been in charge of handling all the elements outside of pure gameplay, such as player progression, economy, customization, online features, menus and game flow.
