Ingrid Olsson
Ingrid has served as both a Business and Systems Analyst at the Texas Department of Information Resources since 2016. In her role, she manages the Texas Open Data Portal program, and is responsible for the training, on-boarding, and support of participating agencies. Recently, Ingrid co-authored the Open Data Portal Playbook, a training guide for agencies beginning the publishing process (available at https://data.texas.gov/Public-Reports-and-Maps/Open-Data-Playbook-Final-Version-June-2017/cayb-2kuq), and presented to an audience of over 250 people at the 2017 Texas Government Data Forum. Before joining DIR, Ingrid served as a New York City Teaching Fellow for 5 years, and has significant experience in academic, government and non-profit settings. Ingrid earned a Bachelor of Arts in History and Spanish from the University of Massachusetts Amherst Honors College, a Master of Science in Education from City College, and a Master in Public Policy from John Jay College of Criminal Justice.
