Won Jang
Won is a candidate for a Master of International Affairs degree at Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs, concentrating in Human Rights and Humanitarian Policy. He's worked in Cairo, Egypt as a consultant for various local NGOs and has attended numerous protests in Tahir Square in downtown Cairo and other locations. Apart from being on the ground, he used social media to monitor protests and sit-ins as they unfolded for his work. When he is back in South Korea, his home country, he is an activist involved in organizing street campaigns for civil society organizations.
