Kaijen Hsiao
As the CTO of Mayfield Robotics, Kaijen Hsiao leads the technology that works on the adorable home robot Kuri. Her design credits include agricultural robots, service robots, assistive robots for people with disabilities, and most recently, companion robots for the home. Kaijen has led teams at MIT (CSAIL), Bosch, and Willow Garage, influencing startup businesses in the US and Europe. She has been named one of Robohub’s “25 Women in Robotics You Need to Know About” and been on Silicon Valley Business Journal’s 2017 Women of Influence list, and she has authored a chapter in the Springer Handbook of Robotics.
