Shawn Bullard has a national reputation for having a well-grounded insider's perspective on Washington's public policy process. He has spent nearly three decades counseling hundreds of CEO’s, association executives and entrepreneurs.
Before launching Duetto Group in 2005, Shawn gained Washington experience as the vice president of government relations for a global PR firm; as the legislative policy director for the nation's top 50 metropolitan county executives with budgets exceeding one-billion dollars; and as the legislative advisor, spokesperson and press secretary to a senior member of the U.S. House of Representatives Armed Services Committee and House Transportation Committee.
Shawn has proudly served as an advisor to scholars of sustainability studies at the Woodrow Wilson International Center, as a senior representative on the Y2K White House Task Force, and as a trusted resource to delegates on the federal Advisory Commission on Electronic Commerce. He has also consulted for some of the most trusted brands in America.
Shawn is a much-sought-after strategist, speaker and moderator, who loves tackling federal policy impacted by emerging trends and disruptive technologies. He is often described by clients as intensely passionate about their endeavors. He sits on multiple boards and advisory committees, and holds a Masters degree from George Mason University’s Schar School of Policy and Government.
