Jason is the Managing Director, Operations, for MACH37, the country’s premier cybersecurity accelerator in northern Virginia. He is a business strategist, entrepreneur, and early stage venture investor with experience leading business planning and consulting engagements to advise entrepreneurs, start-ups, small businesses, and multi-national organizations in both the private and public sector. He is the co-founder of HackEd, a hands-on-keyboard cybersecurity training company, a co-founder of WeatherAlpha, a weather data analytics and ad tech startup, and the founder of VentureScope, where he advises early stage startups and entrepreneurs. Jason is passionate about entrepreneurship and has volunteered as a mentor at UP Global / Techstars' Startup Weekend events on the East Coast, as well as George Washington University’s New Venture competition. He is also a Techstars Entrepreneur-In-Residence, where he led their StartupNext DC cybersecurity pre-accelerator program in 2016. He is also a consultant for startup ecosystem projects in developing countries and emerging markets, where he oversees the establishment of startup incubators and accelerators and helps early stage businesses refine and improve their business models, access private investment, and scale.
