Natalya Bailey

Natalya Bailey is the CEO and a co-founder of Accion Systems. Natalya earned her doctorate in space propulsion from MIT where she helped invent the first working prototype that made use of an ion propulsion technology for small satellites, which then became Accion Systems. The Accion solution works at a smaller scale than the alternatives and is cheaper and easier to manufacture. Prior to MIT, Natalya invented a new chemical rocket technology that she turned into a previous space startup. When not at Accion, Natalya works as a mentor at Youth CITIES where students learn to drive change in their community by applying entrepreneurial principles. Natalya has been named to Forbes’ and Inc. Magazine’s ‘30 Under 30’ lists of exceptional entrepreneurs.
