Bhupendra Sheoran

Dr. Bhupendra Sheoran has over 20 years’ experience in the health sector. As Executive Director of YTH, Dr. Sheoran leads the organization in developing innovative solutions for youth health and wellness in the US and globally. Sheoran has designed multiple new media and technology programs. He has also drafted national mobile health strategies for several countries. Now based in Oakland, California, Sheoran began his career as a medical doctor in India focusing on HIV prevention and treatment during the beginning of the AIDS epidemic. Recognizing the need for holistic population level impact, he shifted his focus to public health getting an MBA in health management. Over the past 20 years he has worked in Asia, Latin America, Africa and the U.S. with nonprofit agencies, the United Nations, and in academic institutions. His core areas of expertise include design thinking, strategic planning, designing and implementing social marketing campaigns, research, and program design.
