Jody Spiegel
Jody Spiegel is Director of the Holocaust Survivor Memoirs Program at the Azrieli Foundation. Her career began in Japan, where she worked as the Head of the Regional Foreign Culture department for the Council of Local Authorities for International Relations. Upon returning to Toronto, Jody attended Osgoode Hall Law School and after a brief career in litigation, she joined Azrieli. Hired at its inception, Jody helped the Foundation launch several exceptional projects, including the International Azrieli Fellows Program and the Holocaust Survivor Memoirs Program. In her current role, Jody has managed the publication of 73 memoirs including 15 award-winning publications. She is also the Executive Producer of the Azrieli Series of Short Films, which features stories and animated excerpts from memoirs written by Canadian Holocaust survivors.
