Elise Roy is an Inclusive Design Strategist who also happens to be deaf. She helps companies analyze innovations, problems and opportunities from the vantage point of people with disabilities to create better solutions - for everyone. Recognized as a global thought leader on the intersection of design and disability, Elise has given talks at Microsoft, the U.S. Institute for Peace, NASA, and many more including a TEDx talk, “When We Design for Disability, We All Benefit,” that gained over 1.1 million views. Elise draws on her diverse career path as a former human rights lawyer, marketer, graphic and product designer to shape solutions for her clients. Her company, Elise Roy & Associates (www.eliseroy.org) has attracted tech companies, nonprofits, and policy organizations such as USAID and the OECD.
