Jeffrey Genung
Jeff Genung is co-founder and President of Contemplative Life, a non-profit that connects people and communities with transformative practices. He currently serves on the board of trustees for the Center for Contemplative Mind in Society, a pioneer and leader in bringing contemplative pedagogy to higher education.
Jeff spent decades studying ancient and contemporary practices, spending time in monasteries, ashrams, and temples in the US and India. He has integrated contemplative practice into his work with hospice and also developed rites of passage for different stages of life.
Jeff has combined his passion for contemplative practice with his interest in technology to create a digital hub for practices and communities. He has a B.S. in Business Management from Cornell University and an M.S in Theology from Sophia Divinity School.
