Dr Carrie Barron
After practicing for 20 years in Manhattan, Carrie moved to Austin to join Dell Medical School's Re-Think Everything mission. She is Dell's Director of the Creativity for Resilience Program and a member of the Columbia Psychoanalytic Center's Media and Outreach Committee. In her book The Creativity Cure, (co-authored with husband Dr. Alton Barron) clinical and academic practice, Carrie draws upon insight, action and human connection to help others with stress, anxiety and depression. Her work continues to be featured in magazines, podcasts, guest blogs and speaking events across the country.
