Andy O'Connell

Andy O’Connell serves on Facebook’s Global Policy Development team, which covers a range of priority policy issues for the company, including human rights, transparency, and the future of news. A Seattle native and a graduate of the Harvard Kennedy School, Mr. O’Connell joined Facebook in 2014 after five years in the Obama administration, including service at the Pentagon and the State Department. He represents Facebook on the Board of the Global Network Initiative.
