Money Mark Nishita

Musician, producer, and mad scientist of music, Mark "Money Mark" (and sometimes just "Money", or, "$$") Ramos Nishita is a music industry veteran well known for his collaborations with the The Beastie Boys, The Talking Heads' David Byrne, and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs- among many others. Born in Detroit, Mark moved to LA around the age of 11. He studied acting in school and picked up carpentry through building sets for plays. $ supported himself by building cabinets from scratch until he was able to launch his music career from his DIY home-studio in Gardena, CA.
