Marc Syp
Marc Syp is an architectural designer, software developer, and innovation leader with extensive experience in the architecture and tech industries. As Design Computation Team Leader of NBBJ digital, Marc is focused on development and deployment of custom internal tools, strategy and process at the firm level, and R&D projects that prototype how technology can affect the way we occupy space.
Marc led a team of four NBBJ designers/coders to build Goldilocks, a working sensor grid and mobile application that connects users to data about their interior environment in real time. He was the Lead Computational Designer of NBBJ’s Google headquarters project in Silicon Valley and has worked as an Application Engineer for tech startup Flux.io as well as a startup co-founder of two small startups. He is the co-creator and Product Manager of the industry-standard HumanUI plugin for Rhino/Grasshopper, as well as a number of additional internal NBBJ software products.
