Thomas O'Neill
Tom O'Neill is a professor of Industrial Organizational Psychology and co-founder of Work EvHOlution. He is a leading expert in the areas of team dynamics, distributed teams, conflict management, personality, smart work, and assessment. He is director of the Individual and Team Performance Lab and the Virtual Team Performance, Innovation, and Collaboration Lab at the University of Calgary. Tom specializes in translating scientific evidence into practice in order to advance people's success at work, including distributed work.
Tom’s experiences with industry include a variety of assessment and psychometric and organizational behavior topics, including measures of personality traits for smart working programs, performance appraisal tool development, construction of competency frameworks, behavioral analysis, and technical reporting of issues in test bias. He has also published several applied research articles and he has been covered Scientific American.
