Thomas has been with BIFAN since 2007 as its key programming personnel. He co-started Network of Asian Fantastic Films (NAFF) in 2008, which is the first-ever genre-specific industry program (including It Project market and Fantastic Film School,) and has been working as its managing director since 2009. So far, over 45 feature films have been completed through the participations at It Project market.
Thomas is also in charge of programming English-language films at BIFAN since last year. Numerous SXSW titles have been shown at BIFAN, Asia's largest genre film festival. His comprehensive knowledge of genre film industry has led him to be a key adviser to Focus Asia Udine in Italy, participating partner at Sitges Pitchbox in Catalonia, Spain, Ventana Sur Blood Window in Buenos Aires, iMDA in Singapore among others and as a curator of Jio Mami Mumbai Fest's AFTER DARK section.
Prior to joining BIFAN, Thomas has served as the general secretariat of Network for the Promotion of Asian Cinema (NETPAC) and worked as the senior manager of Pusan Promotion Plan (PPP) at Busan IFF. He is also known as an avid fan of Karaoke.
