Maria Ivoneide do Vale it’s a Natura Consultant since 1987, in 2012 she won the Claudia Award and the Acolher Award. She is the founder at Tupinambá Institute, which in addition to offering microcredit through its own currency, develops financial education activities, generation and income projects through the sale of food at community events also promoted by them .

The Tupinambá Bank was founded by the Palmas institute. After its creation, Ivoneide and Marivaldo founded the Tupinambá Institute, which established a partnership with the Institute of Social Capital of Amazônia, an initiative of the National Secretariat of Solidarity Economy, with which Ivoneide and her husband now work as consultants in the diffusion of the methodology for the creation of other Community Banks in the Amazon region. Starting with the agreement with the Institute of Social Capital of Amazônia, at the moment 21 community banks were created with the work of the Tupinambá Institute.
