Philip Kimmey
Phil is a co-founder of Rover and was an integral member of Rover’s winning Startup Weekend team. He leads the development of the Rover.com website and mobile apps. Recently, he was named a member of the 2018 Forbes 30 Under 30 list and was honored in the Inc. 30 Under 30 list in 2017.
Phil is pet parent to Pip, a toy poodle, and is a frequent dog sitter for Rover, particularly for his favorite “clients” Cooper and Jim. In the summers, you’ll find him cruising around Lake Washington on his 10-person pontoon boat and in the winter, skiing in the mountains as much as possible.
Phil worked in the Genome Institute at the Washington University School of Medicine, and was a technology and public policy intern for the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington, D.C., where he analyzed the U.S. government’s open-source policy data. Phil studied computer science at Washington University in St. Louis
