Elizabeth Chin is an anthropologist and ethnographer whose practice focuses on race and inequality through experimental writing, community engagement, and working with technology in rural Haiti and the urban United States. She founded the Laboratory of Speculative Ethnology as a platform for investigating and materializing questions of race, aesthetics, technology and politics in design and ethnography. Her most recent book, My Life With Things: The Consumer Diaries was published in 2016 by Duke University Press.
