Sam Claitor

Exec Producer
Fable House

As the executive producer at Fable House, Sam Claitor oversees all production, from concept to production through post-production.

After transitioning from a career in advertising, Sam’s first steps into the film industry were in the visual effects department. While working in VFX he worked with Justin Ball, Pixomondo, and range of other VFX houses on projects like Blue Ruin, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Star Trek Into Darkness, and the television series Game of Thrones. He worked for Gentle Giant Studios heading up their office in Louisiana. There he improved on vendor relationships with notable clients like Marvel, Mattel, Universal, and Paramount by supervising asset collection, 3D scanning, and commercial projects in the region.

In 2013 Sam co-founded the production company Fable House. Fable House made it’s feature film debut with the SyFy Original Zombie Shark, a B-movie style monster movie directed by Misty Talley. Following Zombie Shark, Fable House managed psychological thriller Desolation directed by David Moscow. In 2015 Sam produced Sawyer Hartman's The Parallax Theory alongside Ron Howard and Brian Grazer’s new media production company New Form Digital.

Films, television, music videos, commercials, and other forms of branded content continue to be creative outlets for the team at Fable House. Sam Claitor is currently a member of the Producers Guild of America and the American Advertising Federation. Notable team-ups slated for the future include The Hard Count to be directed by Kern Saxton (Sushi Girl), Red Menace to be directed by Hunter M. Via (editor: The Mist, The Walking Dead, and Preacher), and The Inheritors with Sundance alum Zack Godshall.
